Bards of the Big Sky is the Gala Grand Opening production for the HAT and is part of the first MPN Montana Premiere Project. Provided the construction of  MPN's new home at the HAT is on schedule, performances are slated for (dates to be announced). Bards of the Big Sky features three original plays by Montana Playwrights, and music composed and performed by Steven Gores. The plays are Driver’s Ed by Cynthia M. Webb; Flotsam, Jetsam & Bill by Jay Kettering, and Montana Fish Story by Pamela Jamruszka Mencher.
