A first time offering from MPN member Christa Chiriaco, the Project Incubator is a 10-week group from 7:00-8:30pm on Wednesday nights to assist writers in getting the stories in their head on paper. You are welcome to work on novels, short stories, screenplays and plays. 

 

Each week we will address the following:

• Set writing goals (the first week)

• Report back on writing goals

• Read 2-3 short submissions (ie, first three pages of a novel, first five pages of a screenplay, story outline/treatment, short play, etc)

• Support each other in our creative endeavors and share what we know

• Have fun!

The registration fee is $125 for 10 weeks of writing support.  All funds will not go to the host, but to the Montana Playwrights Network and Helena Avenue Theatre in support of MPN members, and MPN’s creative efforts in the local community and throughout the state of Montana.

Christa’s bio:

Christa Chiriaco has been an active member of multiple writing groups (including two current groups) and hosted a screenwriting group, The Greenlight Group, out of her own home for two years. She has completed three feature-length screenplays, a novella, devotionals and various articles. Christa has been trained in screenwriting and mentored by accomplished screenwriter and producer, Paul Guyot. She will be working on her fourth screenplay set in Montana while hosting the project incubator.
